The Curse of KK Hammond "Heart Shaped Box" Today, The Curse of K.K. Hammond, the U.K. born singer-songwriter and slide guitarist, announces the official pre-sale and release date of her single and accompanying music video for her own unique cover of Nirvana’s iconic “Heart Shaped Box”. This much-anticipated single from “The Queen of Horror Blues,” recorded in K.K.’s own studio and mixed and mastered at Abbey Road Studios, is set to be released on October 27th. Hammond was joined on the track by Kaspar 'Berry' Rapkin (Banjo, guitar solo) and Ian Davidson (cello)

Bluesmagazine’s weekly playlist 74 Bluesmagazine’s weekly playlist is een gevarieerde lijst met onder andere tips van de luisteraars. Er is verder muziek met een link naar Bluesmagazine (releases, recensies, concert reviews) en daarna is de keuze gigantisch. De playlist is voor de luisteraar, naast het lezen van Bluesmagazine en andere Blues websites, een manier om nieuwe artiesten en hun muziek te leren kennen. Samenstelling: Jos Verhagen Dat Bluesmagazine’s weekly playlist wereldwijd word beluisterd blijkt uit aanvragen om nummers op te nemen in de playlist zoals deze week van de Amerikaanse singer songwriter Pete Campbell. Ook Nederlandse bands weten zich te promoten, neem Damned van Bluesstruck het bewijs dat er veel blues talent rondloopt in Nederland. Zo blijft het samenstellen van de wekelijkse playlist met de tips van luisteraars een leuke bezigheid. Heb je tips of favoriete nummers stuur ze in door te mailen naar bluesmusicmagazine@gmail.com. Vijf inzenders komen in de nieuwe playlist. Deze week sluit de playlist af met een ode aan de onlangs overleden Bernie Marsden. We're back again at the voodoo shack after our fantastic sold-out show at Aberjazz Festival in Wales. It’s only a few weeks before we hit the road again in Germany and the Netherlands, so we’re spending the time here cooking up some new voodoo tunes and we’ll be playing a couple of them live at the next shows. We’ve added new dates to the tour in Mannheim, Leipzig and Helmond, check out the full tour below!
