Fuego is a tribute to the songs and artists that helped shape us ever since the early days of DeWolff. 

Instead of writing new tunes, we went back to a handful of (many) songs that lit the spark. The deep cuts that shaped who we are as musicians and as a band. These six (or actually eight) songs may not be particularly well known, but to us they’re priceless classics.

Each one of them taught us something: about groove, about songwriting, about soul or the power of a gritty guitar tone or a heartfelt voice that just hits you in the gut. So here it is: a love letter to our heroes, and to you: the fans who’ve been with us through every riff, every howl and every mile. Thanks for keeping the Fuego burning! To top it off, our friend Joe Bonamassa hopped on board and delivered a fiery guitar solo that takes our tribute to “The Fan” by Little Feat to another level.”

In jouw handen draag je een eerbetoon aan de nummers en artiesten die ons al sinds het begin van DeWolff hebben gevormd. In plaats van nieuwe nummers te schrijven, gingen we terug naar de nummers die de vonk deden overslaan. De diepe stukken die ons hebben gevormd tot wie we zijn als muzikanten en als band.
Deze zes (of eigenlijk acht) nummers zijn misschien niet bijzonder bekend, maar voor ons zijn het onbetaalbare klassiekers.

Elk van hen heeft ons iets geleerd: over groove, over songwriting, over soul of de kracht van een rauwe gitaarklank - of een oprechte stem die je recht in je hart raakt.
Dus hier is het echt liefde voor onze helden, en voor jullie - met ons door heel de wereld, elk land en elke wereld.

 Alle nummers geproduceerd, gearrangeerd en opgenomen door DeWolff, geproduceerd en gemixt door Pablo van de Poel in Electrosaurus Southern Sound Studio tussen 2 oktober en 5 oktober 2025, met uitzondering van Joe's solo on the Fan, dat werd opgenomen in Oceanway Strudlos—Nashville en geproduceerd door Joshua Ditty.
