I am very proud of this album and again like to thank everyone who was involved in the making of this album, my band, Martin Meinschaefer for recording-mix-mastering, Spirit of 66 in Belgium, the photographers who contributed beautiful images and my amazing graphic artist.
In other news I had wonderful shows in Quebec at the Donnacona festival and in Saint-Georges-de Beauce, huge thanks to my agent and musicians in Quebec, with special thanks to Justin Saladino on guitar who played his heart out on stage with me. It was so wonderful to be back in Canada and to see my fans and friends!
I also had a wild trip to Romania and back last weekend and had so much fun meeting other musicians who were performing there and rocking out on stage with my band at the Blues in the Garden Festival. Huge thanks to my band and the promoter and all the wonderful people who made the trip so special (drivers, volunteers, sound, lighting, hotel staff, etc).
I will take a break in September and focus on album promotion, short holidays with my husband and get ready for some great gigs in the UK and Germany in October. See you all back on the road soon, and thank you for your support, x Layla
