Eric Clapton and Bradley Walker pay tribute to Willie Nelson

Eric Clapton and Bradley Walker are paying tribute to Willie Nelson with a cover of “Always on My Mind.” The duo released the track in celebration of Nelson’s 90th birthday.

The song release comes ahead of Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival, which takes place on September 23rd and 24th in Los Angeles. Walker will be joining Clapton on the festival lineup.

Nieuwe single Guy Verlinde (B) over dementie

Vandaag lost Guy Verlinde (B) Ak Peize An Gie, een single in het West-Vlaams dialect over zijn moeder die overleed aan de ziekte van Alzheimer. Het lied is een eerbetoon aan een leven vol herinneringen en een symbool van troost en hoop voor anderen die hun leven ontwricht zagen door dementie

 

Op 21 september is het Wereld Alzheimer Dag en wordt er internationaal aandacht besteed aan dementie. We hopen dat Guy Verlinde en dit nummer aandacht zullen krijgen naarmate die dag dichterbij komt.

 Bij Dauwpop stralen we van trots. Zojuist is bekend geworden dat Dauwpop de Festileaks’ Beste Festival 2023 Award van Nederland in de wacht heeft gesleept. Festileaks is één van de belangrijkste festivalsites van de Benelux. Deze erkenning is een van de meest prestigieuze publieksprijzen in festivalland. Na een grootschalige enquête van Festileaks, waarbij meer dan 100.000 festivalgangers hun stem uitbrachten, kwam Dauwpop als winnaar uit de bus.
