De andere tips zijn nummers van Bryan Lee samen met Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Gov’t Mule, Robert Finley en Wilson Pickett. In de playlist naast de tips en highlights een nummer van Lynyrd Skynyrd, 35 jaar geleden (23 januari 1990) overleed gitarist Allen Collins. Sam Moore van het duo Sam & Dave overleed de afgelopen week op de leeftijd van 89 jaar, ook een nummer van hen op de lijst. En blijf vooral tips insturen!!

Since he burst from the blues clubs of Louisiana onto the global music scene with 1995’s breakthrough first album Ledbetter Heights, followed by his career defining second album Trouble Is... in 1997, Shepherd has twisted those classic cuts into bold new shapes each night on the stage. Led by the pulse of the crowd, every last note alive in his hands, the songs have always been on the move, never settling into museum pieces. But to give a quarter-century-old album a second birth is another matter. When Kenny looked up the road and saw the 25th anniversary of Trouble Is... on the horizon, he hatched an audacious plan.

Ann Wilson kennen we allemaal als de stem van Heart, de band die ze samen met haar zus Nancy tot één van de succesvolste bands van de laatste drie decades van de vorige eeuw maakte. Naast de vele hoogtepunten leerde Ann Wilson (72 jaar oud inmiddels) ook de mindere kanten van het rocksterdom kennen. Maar ze is er nog steeds, inmiddels zonder zus Nancy, die de bandnaam heeft opgeëist en als Heart onderweg is. Het noopte Ann om onder haar eigen naam op te treden.
