Nola Blue Records is celebrating Women’s History Month with the announcement of three major new album releases this summer by Maria Muldaur, Candice Ivory and the Alexis P. Suter Band. In chronological order they are: June 6 – Just Stay High from The Alexis P. Suter Band; July 11 - One Hour Mama: The Blues of Victoria Spivey from Maria Muldaur; and August 8 - New Southern Vintage from Candice Ivory.

Bluesmagazine’s weekly playlist 133 Bluesmagazine’s weekly playlist is een gevarieerde lijst met onder andere tips van de luisteraars. Er is verder muziek met een link naar Bluesmagazine (releases, recensies, concert reviews) en daarna is de keuze gigantisch. De playlist is voor de luisteraar, naast het lezen van Bluesmagazine en andere Blues websites, een manier om nieuwe artiesten en hun muziek te leren kennen. Samenstelling: Jos Verhagen Na drie weken afwezig te zijn geweest wegens ziekte ben ik Collega Louis dankbaar dat hij de lijst heeft voortgezet, ik heb genoten van zijn keuzes. Deze week zelf eer de lijst samengesteld en het blijft een fijne bezigheid. De luisteraars blijven Bluesmagazine tippen met onder de tips voor de weekly playlist weer een paar fijne nummers.
