The Cure-gitarist Perry Bamonte (65) overleden na kort ziekbed

Perry Bamonte, gitarist en toetsenist van de band The Cure, is op 65-jarige leeftijd overleden na een kort ziekbed. De band maakte zijn overlijden vrijdagavond bekend op haar website.

De gitarist overleed tijdens Kerst, schrijft de band. Het is onbekend aan welke ziekte hij leed.

The singer died in hospital this morning

The singer of 'Driving Home for Christmas', Chris Rea, has died at the age of 74.
In a statement on behalf of his wife and two children, a spokesperson said: “It is with immense sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Chris.
