SKYEYE - third digital single & music video released
Some bands play heavy metal. Some bands are heavy metal. Enter Slovenian powerhouse SKYEYE, the best example of category two one could wish for. With their third record “New Horizons”, the sworn brotherhood is officially and successfully applying for the role of heavy metal’s latest and most courageous defenders of the faith, a force of steel that was simmering ever since it started out back in 2014.
The new album will be released on July 19th, 2024 via Reaper Entertainment.
Today, the band presents the third digital single. "Nightfall" is available on every major streaming platform.

Marc Broussard deelt zijn opbeurende nieuwe single ‘Give You The World’ , een van de nummers van zijn aanstaande nieuwe studioalbum, dat dit najaar uitkomt. “Give You The World” , mede geschreven door Broussard, Travis Meadows en Alphonse Ardoin en geproduceerd door Eric Krasno en Jeremy Most , straalt een soulvolle groove uit die Broussards gepassioneerde zang en oprechte teksten laat zien, culminerend in een feestelijk refrein.

Door de acuut noodzakelijke afzegging van Catfish (ziekte Matt Long) hebben we met The Bluesbones een waardige vervanger gevonden voor de spot op onze DeltaStage:
The BluesBones , een bluesrockband die sinds de oprichting in 2011 furore maakt in de internationale muziekwereld. Met een sound die geworteld is in de blues maar elementen van rock, soul en funk bevat, heeft de band een trouwe fanbase ontwikkeld en lovende kritieken gekregen voor krachtige live-optredens en fantastische albums.
Welke band kan zeggen dat ze 3 x op Nr.1 hebben gestaan in UK Blues charts met hun laatste 3 releases op rij? Deze band dus!

Bluesfestival Hoogeveen 2024 in De Tamboer!
Graag attendeer ik je op het Bluesfestival Hoogeveen editie 18. Dit keer niet in november, maar in september. Dit keer op zaterdag 14 september 2024. We gaan het festival anders insteken; dit keer beginnen we om 18.00 uur. We betrekken de tuin van De Tamboer erbij en zorgen voor lekker eten.
Bluesfans opgelet! Heerlijke ritmes, weergaloze gitaarsolo’s en imposante zang. Muziek en teksten, doordrenkt van alles wat het leven bracht en brengt. Powerblues, Mississippi blues tunes, soul ballads. Laurence Jones, Ten Years After en Julian Sas reizen af naar Hoogeveen. Andere namen maken we de komende maanden bekend.
De line-up wordt de komende maanden aangevuld.
