 Steve was originally a member of Big Sky, one of South African’s biggest rock bands.  The new single and album is produced by Kevin Shirley (Joe Bonamassa, Black Country Communion, Joanne Shaw Taylor).  Joe Bonamassa guests on one of the tracks on the new album.

Kevin Shirley and Steve are old acquaintances as they are from Cape Town in South Africa.  Read Steve’s biography to vibe to his incredible credentials.  He’s South African rock royalty. 

When you her the first single “Giants Walk The Land,” the first thing that will strike you is the luscious produced and mix by Shirley.  Louw commands a hypnotic groove in the vein of John Prine, John Hiatt, and Midnight Oil.  The atmospheric  music video is filmed in the heart of the South African desert.
