Eagles-medeoprichter Randy Meisner (77) overleden   Randy Meisner, zanger, bassist en medeoprichter van de legendarische band Eagles, is woensdag op 77-jarige leeftijd overleden. De muzikant stierf aan de gevolgen van de longaandoening COPD. Meisner was eind jaren zestig een van de muziekpioniers in Los Angeles en richtte in 1971 de Eagles op samen met Glenn Frey, Don Henley en Bernie Leadon

Platenmarkt bij C+B Museum, Grolloo Er gaat iets bijzonders gebeuren in Grolloo. Op zondag 20 augustus 2023 wordt in de Voorstreek, de straat waaraan het C+B Museum gevestigd is, een platenbeurs gehouden. De organisatie van die beurs is in handen van het Cuby Museum en deze beurs wordt samen opgepakt met Variaworld, een organisatie die ruime ervaring heeft in het opzetten van platenbeurzen. Het is de eerste maal dat het Cuby Museum een platenbeurs houdt in de directe omgeving van het museum.
