Pugsley Buzzard's compositions tell of vagabonds scarred by life and they sing the songs of uprooted troubadours. Pugsley's raspy baritone gets under the skin and lets anyone with a heart in their chest experience the love of life and the blazing flame of passion. With him, the first-class band celebrates a big-easy party under the motto "Get the Buzz".
De Finse gitariste en zangeres Erja Lyytinen heeft na inmiddels al twaalf albums een behoorlijke naam opgebouwd binnen de bluesrock kringen. Het is dan ook niet voor niets dat zij “The Queen Of The Slide Guitar” genoemd wordt.
Op haar nieuwe album heeft Erja er voor gekozen om haar geluid flink te mengen met allerlei invloeden vanuit de Classic 70’s rock. Het bluesrock geluid blijft in de meeste nummers flink aanwezig maar wordt ook vermengd met invloeden vanuit de funk, soul en pop-rock hoek. Zij wordt op haar album bijgestaan door Tatu Back (bas), Iiro Laitinen (drums) en Harri Taittonen (Hammond, keyboards).
Eerste namen Rhythm & Blues Night in De Oosterpoort bekend!Menig liefhebber van blues en aanverwante muziekstijlen heeft zaterdag 29 april al lang in de agenda staan, want dan vindt in De Oosterpoort in Groningen namelijk de 31e editie van de Rhythm & Blues Night plaats. Het festival brengt elk jaar vele topacts uit de internationale blues, roots en Rhythm ‘n’ Blues scene bij elkaar onder één dak en heeft de lat voor komend jaar hoog gelegd. De eerste smaakmakers die naar Groningen komen zijn namelijk: Kenny Wayne Shepherd, David Eugene Edwards, Ana Popovic en Jason Ringenberg & His Barnstormers.

Liefhebbers van Blues, Coutry-Rock, Southern-Rock komen op deze achtste plaat van deze Rusty Wright Band volkomen tot hun Recht. Alleen al bij het eerste nummer denkt men waar ben je in beland met dat gesproken tekst wat dan weer overgaat in gezongen tekst.
De ene keer ontdekt met zelfs Molly Hatchet achtige rifjes “Devi in the details” wat dan weer overvloed in ballads die de plaat vervolgt of anders met een boogie achtige sound “No Turnin Back”
