Op zaterdag 18 april 2026 viert Nederland opnieuw Record Store Day. Meer dan 130 platenzaken doen mee met exclusieve releases, instore optredens en signeersessies. Ilse DeLange is ambassadeur en brengt een exclusieve 7-inch single uit. Zet de datum in je agenda en vier de liefde voor de platenzaak.

Save the date: op zaterdag 18 april 2026 staat Nederland opnieuw in het teken van Record Store Day. Samen met muziekliefhebbers over de hele wereld vieren we de liefde voor muziek en voor de onafhankelijke platenzaak. Met meer deelnemende winkels dan ooit – maar liefst 130 – belooft het een bijzondere editie te worden.

SPOT Groningen heeft vandaag zeven nieuwe namen aangekondigd voor de 34^e editie van het festival. Zo betreden onder meer Robert Finley, Jerron Paxton en The Animeros op zaterdag 2 mei de podia in De Oosterpoort. Ook Kendra Morris, Canyon Lights, The Loved Ones en La Perra Blanco zijn toegevoegd aan de line-up van het Groningse festival, waarmee de lineup compleet is.

North Sea Jazz 50 jaar - Eerste namen zijn bekend voor 2026

Eerste namen 50 jaar North Sea Jazz Festival 2026 bekend Op 16 juli is het precies 50 jaar geleden dat de deuren van North Sea Jazz voor het eerst opengingen, toen nog in Den Haag. Het festival begon met zes zalen, driehonderd musici en zo’n negenduizend bezoekers. In dat eerste jaar betraden legendes als Sarah Vaughan, Count Basie, Dizzy Gillespie en Stan Getz het podium. Sindsdien is North Sea Jazz uitgegroeid tot een internationaal toonaangevend evenement en een icoon van de jazzmuziek. Met inmiddels 17 podia, circa 1.300 artiesten en jaarlijks 90.000 bezoekers uit alle windstreken brengt het festival een breed scala aan jazz en aanverwante genres.
