The City of Chicago will host the 2023 Chicago Blues Festival Thursday, June 8 through Sunday, June 11 at Millennium Park.  For the out-of-towners that will not be able to attend the festival, concerts at Pritzker Stage and Rosa's Lounge will be livestreamed! Er is verder muziek met een link naar Bluesmagazine (releases, recensies, concert reviews) en daarna is de keuze gigantisch.  De playlist is voor de luisteraar, naast het lezen van Bluesmagazine en andere Blues websites, een manier om nieuwe artiesten en hun muziek te leren kennen. Samenstelling: Jos Verhagen In de tips van deze week een request voor Ted Nugent, Hibernation of iets dergelijks. Nu is Ted Nugent een gitarist die in de Hard Rock een gevestigde naam is en Hibernation niet echt een nummer voor in de playlist. Ik vond op het album Double live Gonzo waar Hibernation opstaat het mooie The Great White Buffalo wel passend.
