Riley Downing (The Deslondes) Start It Over
sat down one day and decided he wanted to record a song or two for a simple 45. The Deslondes had been on a hiatus for a while and Downing had the creative itch to put something down on record. He had been in contact with his bandmate, John James Tourville, and they decided to work on a split 7” with a friend.

Ticket West is een Nederlandse bluesformatie opgebouwd rond de gebroeders Wilhelm: gitarist Pascal en bassist Walter. Hun interesse in de blues werd door hun vader gewekt in 1984, toen de broers 14 en 11 jaar oud waren. En die interesse is in de loop van de jaren alleen maar gegroeid. De bandnaam Ticket West verwijst naar hun stijl van spelen, namelijk de Westcoast blues, zoals we die kennen van T-Bone Walker, Pee Wee Crayton en Rod Piazza, om er maar een paar te noemen.

Het was een bijzondere avond, die 25e februari 2020 in het Palladium in Londen,, met al die beroemdheden die de eer brachten aan de originele Fleetwood Mac, diens voorman Peter Green en hun muziek. Wat het nog meer bijzonder maakt was het feit dat enkele weken later de hele wereld in lockdown ging en dit soort feestjes er niet meer zijn geweest. Helaas is Peter Green zelf op 25 juli 2020 overleden.

Dat er in Duitsland ook goede bluesband zijn te vinden en te beluisteren bewijst deze band rond Thomas Neukirch
Alle stukken zijn geschreven door Thomas Neukirch en de muziek door Heiko Wilhelmus.
De tien nummers zijn opgenomen in de Kreisrockminister Studio. Heiko Wilhelmus produceerde daar de huidige plaat .
De 32/20 Blues Band is een soort garantie voor goede, vermakelijke blues/blues rock.
Het kwartet weet de luisteraar van de eerste tot de laatste noot van "What Might Happen" voor zich te winnen en het is aan te raden om in één keer van alle nummers te genieten.
De gast toetsenist Thomas Bracht past perfect met de hele drukte van de 32/20 Blues Band twaalf-beats. Of het nu gaat om heerlijk geknoopte klanktapijten met zijn Hammond.
Liefhebbers van de boogie/blues of bluesrock komen goed aan hun trekken bij het kwartet.
Er zij nogmaals op gewezen dat bassist Ingo Neukirch en Benjamin Krämer net zo gevoelig zijn voor hun werk als Thomas Neukirch en Heiko Wilhelmus .
Voor deze plaat is het helemaal op zijn plaats om te zeggen handen in de lucht en geniet van deze plaat.
