Ten tijde van hun derde album ‘Skydogs’ joeg ‘Emily’ polsslagen en hitlijsten op. Nu zorgt ’Amy’ voor hommeles in het hart en het hoofd van The Sore Losers. Zanger Jan Straetemans: “Het nummer is een melancholische terugblik op zomerse verliefdheid. Wie heeft er niet ooit op een zonnig strand in een ver land een paar dagen van dolle verliefdheid beleefd met iemand die je nooit meer terugziet. Hoe die droom je achtervolgt, ook al was hij zo kort en intens dat hij nooit echt zou kunnen zijn, daar gaat 'Amy' over.”

‘Amy’ is de tweede single van het vijfde full length album van The Sore Losers en verschijnt wereldwijd op Suburban Records op 11 juni 2021. Het volledige album komt later dit jaar uit.

Explosive Belgian rockers The Sore Losers have just finished recording their fifth full length album since the band started out back in 2009. The second single “Amy” will be released by Suburban Records on June 11th 2021, the full album will follow later that year.

Following the release of the new record, the band will be touring extensively throughout the Benelux, France and Germany. The Sore Losers presented their previous album, Gracias Señor, live for the first time at the Pukkelpop 2018 festival in a packed Marquee (cap 10.000). They have sold out their homebase venue Ancienne Belgique (cap. 2.000) and played +50,000 capacity festivals like Rock Werchter, Pukkelpop and Pinkpop.

The band have done several Benelux headline tours and in the fall of 2017 they went on their first headline tour in France, where they had been playing support shows since October 2016. Speaking of supports, the band has been on tour with Boss Hog, Kaiser Chiefs, Wolfmother and White Denim. Also in 2017, they made their US debut in NYC and at SXSW and went for the second time to play in Japan.
