Met de geweldige zang van Conchita Venderbosch en het onvolprezen gitaarspel van Jelle Wunderink, virtuoos toetsenspel van Frankie Vriens alles uiteraard ondersteund door een geweldige ritme sectie op Drums Peter Doppen en Bas Michel Bruijniks........

Column: De plaat en zijn verhaal.  John Cougar - Jack & Diane  Geschreven door: Henk Laing  Bij het horen van het nummer “Jack & Diane” van John Cougar worden mijn gedachten teruggevoerd naar een bijzonder moment uit mijn militaire diensttijd. In 1981 werd ik opgeroepen voor mijn dienstplicht, lichting 81-4, en werd ik naar Ossendrecht gestuurd. Na verschillende interne opleidingen in Bergen op Zoom, Utrecht en Eindhoven, werd ik aan het eind van dat jaar geplaatst in de “Willem de Zwijger Kazerne” in Wezep als bergingsspecialist.......

Column: De plaat en zijn verhaal.  Geschreven door: Henk Laing  Alice Cooper met How You Gonna See Me Now Het is 1978, en mijn tienerjaren worden gekleurd door de nummers van Alice Cooper. Zijn nummers waren rebels, energiek en doordrenkt van de typische shockrock die hem beroemd maakte. “School’s Out”, “Elected”, “Hello Hurray”, “No More Mr. Nice Guy”, maar vooral “Hallo Of Flies” zijn de favorieten op de zolderkamer, draaiend vanaf mijn “ERRES EK3511” cassette-deck. Deze kocht ik van het salaris, verdiend tijdens mijn eerste vakantie-baantje bij Hevea Raalte. Maar dan, iets nieuws, verrassend onverwachts is daar “How YouGonna See Me Now”......
