"The Neville Brothers are my favorite New Orleans band. I played with Cyril Neville for a while and even got to sit in a tone of their final performances at the New Orleans Jazz Fest. Originally I covered "Yellow Moon" on my Covered Tracks Vol. 2 acoustic release, which led to people requesting it at the live shows. We don't play it that often, but when we do, it's our way of paying tribute to the Nevilles and the big influence they've had on New Orleans music, including my own. We were really feeling it the night Live in Mississippi was recorded, and it's a really great jam."
