Release - Nelson Blanchard - Nelson Blanchard

Nelson Blanchard Nelson Blanchard was born on January 13, 1953. At the tender age of 10, he was already a performer in clubs with The Richard Brothers, a popular local group from the Pierre Part, LA area (Nelson's birthplace). He studied music throughout elementary and high school, playing in special state and district bands (including the Governor's Honor Band). He studied music education at LSU and Nicholls State University.

BLUESWORLD CAFÉ: ZELDZAME GEZONDHEID

Elke 1e dinsdag van de maand is het Bluesworld Café en is er een live band. Het programma wordt live uitgezonden ditmaal eenmalig vanuit de Grote Zaal van Hedon.  Dinsdag 07 Maart  het toneel voor de band Rare Sanity. De Emmer formatie brengt opzwepende Southern Bluesrock onder de noemer - Too blues for Rock & Too Rock for blues -. Rare Sanity is een tamelijk nieuwe band met een mix van jeugdige getalenteerde en ervaren muzikanten. De bandleden zijn: Anno de Roo -gitaar, Herman Timmer - basgitaar, Andy Nijmeijer - toetsen, Danny de Roo - drums en Peet Hartenberg- zang. 

De inspiratie haalde Rare Sanity bij bands als Gov't Mule, The Allman Brothers, BlackBerry Smoke, The Black Crowes en de Markus King Band. Bands die hun oorsprong vonden in de Zuidelijke Staten van Amerika, maar Rare Sanity geeft er tijdens hun optredens een unieke eigen draai aan.

Harlem Lake met nieuw album terug naar Culemborg!

Tijdens het optreden van Harlem Lake op Culemborg Blues 2022 zijn opnames gemaakt. Over het resultaat is de band zo tevreden dat ze eigenlijk niet anders konden, dan het officieel uit te brengen. En wat is er mooier dan de album presentatie plaats te laten vinden in de stad waar het album geboren is? Dus...
