Op zondagmiddag 5 oktober organiseert de Dutch Blues Foundation de jaarlijkse Dutch Blues Challenge. De zes finalisten, vier bands en twee solo/duo-acts, worden in TivoliVredenburg te Utrecht beoordeeld door een onafhankelijke en professionele jury. De jury bestaat dit jaar uit Lucinda Legaspi, Özgür Hazar, Kjell Brovoll, José Ramirez en Fred ‘Lefthand Freddy’ Reining. De finalisten laten in 20 minuten zien en horen waarom zij op een gerenommeerd podium thuishoren. De jury beoordeelt de acts op bluesinhoud, muzikaal en vocaal talent, originaliteit en uitstraling. De acts met de hoogste score mogen Nederland in 2026 vertegenwoordigen bij de International Blues Challenge (IBC) in Memphis en de band bij de European Blues Challenge (EBC) in Polen. ...........►►►
