In de Juke Joint area op Ribs & Blues is weer van alles te doen voor de puristen die houden van kleinschalige gezelligheid, actief deelnemen of gewoon relaxed toekijken en genieten…….

Op zaterdagavond wordt op verzoek voor de 2^e keer de musical ‘Old man on the front porch’ - over het ontstaan van de cigar box gitaar en the blues- tweemaal in verkorte versies van ca 40 minuten uitgevoerd.  Het publiek volgt dan in 2 bedrijven weer de eenvoudige katoen ‘sharecropper’ Josh, vanaf 1936 op een plantage in de Mississippi Delta. Josh maakt van een lege sigarendoos en een bezemsteel een cigar box gitaar en speelt zijn eerste bluesnoten waarop een ‘rollercoaster’ volgt.
