Bijna 200.000 bezoekers zagen inmiddels deze muziekproductie. Belangrijkste kenmerk is de meerstemmige zang op misschien wel ‘olympisch niveau’, waarvan muziekblad OOR schreef: ‘zelden hebben 4 stemmen zo goed bij elkaar gepast’.

Eddie Taylor Sr, een meestergitarist en VeeJay-artiest, en zijn vrouw, zangeres Vera Taylor, waren leiders in de Great Migration-generatie die de blues van Mississippi naar de West Side van Chicago bracht in de jaren vijftig.  Vijf van hun acht kinderen groeiden op tot professionele musici. Uit de meedogenloze chaos van stedelijke armoede, geweld en raciaal onrecht in de thuisgemeenschap van de Taylors rijst de schoonheid van deze overlevingsmuziek op. De blues zit hen in het bloed
