In april neemt Metropool deel aan een aantal test evenementen in Hengelo en Enschede en jij ook als je kaarten koopt en je bereid bent om je voor het evenement te laten testen. Hoe dat werkt? Vrij simpel!
* Je koopt een kaartje voor 1 van de evenementen (kaarten zijn per 2 te koop).
* Je ontvangt van ons per mail een link om een afspraak te maken om je te laten testen, deze afspraak is maximaal 40 uur voor het evenement plaats vindt en hier zijn verder geen kosten aan verbonden.
* Je neemt je testresultaat (dit gaat via een app op je telefoon, de info staat in de mail die we je hebben gestuurd) en je ticket mee op de dag van je event en je gaat genieten van een toffe show!

Guitarist Muddy Manninen first recorded in 1979 with Red House Blues Band. Later, he joined Finnish group Havanna Blacks, and then went on to work as the main songwriter in Gringos Locos, a band that also featured Ben Granfelt.

Jo Harman releases a 'TV Mix' (ie no lead vocal) of her song 'Lonely Like Me', the closing opus from her 'People we Become' album. It may seem a little strange to release a version without Jo's towering main vocal, but this mix not only showcases Jo's composition (she wrote it alone) but also the majesty of her backing vocal arrangement (all her), as well as the sonic beauty of Fred Mollin's production and sonic capture at one of the World's foremost studios, 
Jade Like The Stone drops her latest single 'Ocean Of Words' from her '7 Roads' collaboration with Redtenbacher's Funkestra, aka Masterlinksessions studio band. This partnership really brings out the psyche rock element of Jade's polymath vocal skills - nodding perhaps to the likes of Grace Slick and Stevie Nicks - with this track features guitarist Tony Remy, at his most Hendrixesque; the man who kinda took over from Eric when he became Jack Bruce's guitarist of choice and has worked subsequently from everyone from Herbie Hancock to Annie Lennox. Jade, who has also enjoyed the very public support of Jimmy Page, mixing it with the very best. 
Connor Selby releases the debut single from his upcoming (self titled) album due later this Summer. This track 'I Can't Let You Go' opens the album and Connor himself should need little introduction to blues fans - he's already played Wembley Stadium at the invitation of 'The Who' - and his upcoming album should further secure his position as our leading young bluesman walking in the traditions of Eric Clapton and Peter Green; big shoes to fill but Connor has 'big feet' on both the vocal and guitar front where the direct nature of those skills rarely fail to connect.
