Energetic and brimming with boundless enthusiasm, the Mocks burst onto the music scene with an energy that set stages ablaze. With their live performances they channel the raw spirit of inspirations such as the Who, T. Rex and the Yardbirds, leaving audiences breathless and begging for more.
In Spring 2024, the three youngsters from The Netherlands released their debut album ‘Do You Want Me Too?’, which was recorded fully analog and on vintage equipment. The album comprises half an hour of powerful, fuzzy and rhythm songs, in which the band shows what they’re known for – Energetic, original songs with strong vocals and harmonies.
The band manages to recreate a unique sound, while flirting with the past.

The influences of legendary Dutch beat bands such as The Motions, Q65 and The Outsiders are clear, but the three gentlemen harmonize in terms of vocals as if they are actually a power-pop band in disguise. A unique contrast to all the heavy pounding and tearing done by the guitars and drums.
No-nonsense drummer Jimi punishes the pigskins like a true maniac, while the eccentric Tim lets his guitar scream and moan like a banshee over hollow body bass lines by songwriter
Rens that are so full and thick, you can feel them in your gut.” - Darryl Sterdan
"The Mocks are on fire here and this just might be the garage-rock debut album of the year, if not one of the best garage-rock records of 2024. Miss this band at your peril!" - Nathan Whittle
Fuzzy guitar work, harmony vocals and a stirring beat. The Mocks' debut album is British invasion rock without pretensions and with a good dose of energy
Anyone who likes genuine British rock 'n' roll and garage rock from the 60s should go to The
Mocks. The very young band from Nieuw-Vennep makes its debut with Do You Want Me
Too? –on the Amsterdam label Wap Shoo Wap Records (The Covids, Fuckfuckfuck). Ten songs without any fuss, about love or longing.
The album was recorded on analog tapes under the direction of producer Arjan Spies, the guitarist of The Kik, resulting in the authentic sound of the sixties with the clarity of today. Does the record bring much innovation compared to The Kinks, The Beatles and other British Invasion rock bands? No, but this unpretentious debut is wonderful to listen to.
Lightning-fast garage rock alternated with harmonious vocals on Do Me Good, the mysterious instrumental intermezzo The Spy and the surf rock-inspired I'm Waiting - Do You Want Me Too? is an enjoyable time travel of about half an hour, which is over before you know it. - Floris Hendrix
