 Al sinds 1992 draait Walk That Walk mee in de bluesscene van Boston. Al in het eerste jaar van hun bestaan belandde de band in de finales van de plaatselijke ‘The Battle Of The Blues Bands’. Walk That Walk heeft zich laten inspireren door Chicago Blues en rock ’n roll uit de vijftiger jaren en bestaat uit Chuck ‘Poppa C’ DeSnyder (gitaar, dobro, zang), jon ‘Cutlet’ Reese (bas), Stickman Waldron (harmonica, zang) en Alan Waters (drums, percussie).

Op hun inmiddels zevende album “You Good?!” wordt de band door een handvol vrienden en collega’s ondersteund op instrumenten als banjo, fiddle, gitaar, toetsen en aanvullende zang. Op het album staan negen zelfgeschreven nummers. Stuk voor stuk erg leuke en goed geschreven nummers. Het begint meteen goed met de countryrocker “I’m The Man”. Het countrysfeertje komt later nog terug in “Country Boy Strong”. In “Detroit Rumble” bezingt de band de muzikanten die uit die stad komen, zoals Iggy Pop, Mitch Ryder en Bob Seger. Erg leuk is het gesproken duet tussen DeSnyder en Queen E in “All Kinds Of Alcohol” en de cityblues in “The Working Blues”. Een geslaagd album.

Walk That Walk has been part of the Boston blues scene since 1992. In the first year of its existence, the band ended up in the finals of the local 'The Battle Of The Blues Bands'. Walk That Walk was inspired by Chicago Blues and rock 'n roll of the 1950s and consists of Chuck 'Poppa C' DeSnyder (guitar, dobro, vocals), Jon 'Cutlet' Reese (bass), Stickman Waldron (harmonica, vocals) and Alan Waters (drums, percussion).

On their seventh album “You Good?!” the band is supported by a handful of friends and colleagues on instruments such as banjo, fiddle, guitar, keys and additional vocals. The album contains nine self-written songs. All very nice and well written songs. It starts right away with the country rocker "I'm The Man". The country atmosphere comes back later in “Country Boy Strong”. In “Detroit Rumble” the band sings about the musicians who come from that city, such as Iggy Pop, Mitch Ryder and Bob Seger. Very nice is the spoken duet between DeSnyder and Queen E in “All Kinds Of Alcohol” and the city blues in “The Working Blues”. A successful album.
