PD MARTIN

(aka Piet Vercauteren), geboren in 1984, raakte bezeten door de gitaar op zijn 12de. Sindsdien speelde hij in allerlei bands, waarbij hij zich onderdompelde in een grote verscheidenheid aan muzikale stijlen (rockabilly, punk, blues, bluegrass,…). Een paar jaar geleden besliste hij dat de tijd rijp was om zijn zelfgeschreven nummers als zanger-gitarist de wereld in te sturen. Dus richtte hij zijn eigen band op met Joris Holderbeke (Charles Traveaux Blues, Mystery) op bas en Rien Gees (Big Time Bossmen) op drums. Met funk als drive, brengen ze opzienbarend daverende soul en blues, puur en beklijvend.

PD MARTIN (aka Piet Vercauteren), born in 1984, got hooked on the guitar when he was 12. Ever since, he played in all kinds of bands, immersing himself in a wide range of musical styles (rockabilly, punk, blues, bluegrass,…).
