DALE BOYLE – 2017 UO WINNER! Montreal singer-songwriter, Dale Boyle,
has been named the 2nd place winner in the Americana category of the 2017 Unsigned Only (UO) music competition!
The international UO music competition received nearly 6000
submissions from over 100 countries, and on Sept 6, 2017,
two winners were announced in each category.

The "Gasoline" EP reflects a range of roots and roots-rock influences and includes four original songs (Gasoline, My Birmingham, All Gone Now, and Hard Luck Town) as well as a cover of Neil Young's "Heart of Gold." Gasoline is a "wild ride" that "finds the corner where roots and real rock meet" (Midwest Record). "Gasoline" was recorded in Los Angels and Montreal studios with Kenny Aronoff on drums and James LoMenzo on bass. Montreal's Geoff Mitchell played organ and piano on the tracks."My Birmingham" recently placed in the finals of the Canadian Songwriting Competition, as "Gasoline" was named the 2nd place winner in the 2017 Unsigned Only music competition.
