Croatian blues/rock band Voodoo Ramble featuring Boris Zamba with special guest Muddy Manninen (Wishbone Ash/Black Pearl) release a new single ‘Midnight Ride on Mon 1st June 2024
Midnight Ride is the 2nd advance single from the band’s forthcoming 5th album called ‘In The Heart of The City’ and mirrors Boris Zamba’s love of southern rock.

Dexter Gordon (1923 – 1990) was in alle opzichten een reus. Zowel zijn lichaamslengte lengte als zijn spel straalde autoriteit uit. Hij had de kracht om te midden van vele muzikale indrukken conclusies te trekken en, wars van andermans opinie, de dingen zeggen/spelen zoals ze zijn. Zo was hij een van de eerste tenorsaxofonisten die na de big band stijl moderne jazz ging spelen waardoor hij een inspiratiebron werd voor velen.

With an all-star history that includes an almost historic run of shows with Michael Jackson and extensive collabs with icons like Alice Cooper, Dave Stewart and Richie Sambora, there’s no way Orianthi will ever outrun her glorious reputation as a shredder who takes the electric guitar to otherworldly levels. Longtime fans will always want to hear her work her emotionally charged magic, and those who have only casually heard about her history will want to hear what the fuss is all about. The point of her signing with Woodward Avenue Records was not to put those accolades behind her but to find a way to integrate her legendary talents on the guitar with her continued emergence as a heartfelt and soulful singer/songwriter sharing her longtime passion for organic, 60’s-70’s blues-rock sound.

Een vehikel voor voormalig Small Faces-frontman Steve Marriott en voormalig Herd-gitaarvirtuoos Peter Frampton, ze werden vergezeld door een ritmesectie van Greg Ridley (Spooky Tooth) en een toen 17-jarige Jerry Shirley op drums. |
