Organisatie trekt stekker uit Psy-Fi Festival Oldenzaal: aanpassen van festival is geen optie

Het psychedelisch muziek- en kunstfestival Psy-Fi gaat deze zomer niet door op Het Hulsbeek in Oldenzaal. Nadat de gemeente Oldenzaal eerder al duidelijk maakte dat voor het festival in de huidige vorm geen vergunning wordt gegeven, heeft de organisatie besloten zelf de stekker eruit te trekken. Er zijn inmiddels ruim 6000 kaarten verkocht voor het festival dat in juli in Oldenzaal zou neerstrijken.

Het moest een geweldig festival worden zoals jarenlang in Leeuwarden georganiseerd werd. Duizenden bezoekers uit tientallen landen die vijf dagen lang samen genieten van psychedelische muziek, workshops en kunst. En dat allemaal op recreatieterrein Het Hulsbeek in Oldenzaal. Want na succesvolle jaren in Leeuwarden moest het festival op zoek naar een andere locatie, toen de rechter de toegekende vergunningen vernietigde.
