Geen Rock Werchter en Pukkelpop: Belgische overheid verbiedt festivals tot 31 augustus

De Belgische festivalzomer kan de prullenbak in. De overheid heeft alle festivals tot eind augustus 2020 verboden vanwege het heersende coronavirus. Met deze beslissing vinden onder meer Rock Werchter, Pukkelpop en Graspop geen doorgang.

🔀 Weekend Video: Phat Phunktion

Weekend Video: Phat Phunktion De twee bandleiders Tim Whalen en Al Falaschi die de band vormden toen ze muziekstudenten waren aan de Universiteit van Wisconsin-Madison. Samen schrijven en regelen ze alle muziek. Phat Phunktion is een negenkoppige band, compleet met volledige hoornsectie. Hun muziek is een mix van funk, jazz en R&B. Rolling Stone zei dat Phat Phunktion "een band in opkomst was". Datzelfde jaar wonnen ze een Wisconsin Area Music Industry Award voor 'Beste R&B Band'.
