De samenwerking tussen bluesgitarist en zanger Mick Pini en producer Craig Marshall (Audio 54) is een bijzondere manier van muziek maken. De in Duitsland wonende gitarist en in Engeland wonende producer wisselen ideeën uit over internet. De concepten voor songs komen van Marshall, waarna Pini ermee aan de slag gaat en de uitgewerkte songs dan terugstuurt, zodat Marshall er bijvoorbeeld nog blazers of strijkers aan toevoegt en de mix verzorgt.

De uit het Engelse Leicester komende gitarist woont alweer geruime tijd in Duitsland. Hoewel hij op zijn vijftiende begon en in de loop van de jaren met diverse bands bezig was werd hij pas vrij laat echt ontdekt. En dat dan weer wel door Mike Vernon, waarmee hij drie albums heeft opgenomen. In zijn 55-jarige carrière heeft hij 25 albums opgenomen en heeft hij samengewerkt met artiesten als B.B. King en geopend voor Buddy Guy, Jimmy Rogers en Freddie King.
