Musician, singer/songwriter, and artist, Alan Arena introduces an upbeat summer anthem - Cape Cod Girl.
The song features guitarist “Monster” Mike Welch (Sugar Ray and The Bluetones) with a standout solo and fiery leads throughout. It was produced by Brad Hallen (Susan Tedeschi, Roomful of Blues) who also plays an infectious and driving bass line on the track.
Marty Richards (J. Geils Band, Duke Robillard) gives an energetic performance on drums. Brooks Milgate (Ana Popvić, Lurrie Bell) lays down a driving piano part. Touring artist “Sax” Gordon Beadle rounds out the performance with an ear catching horn ensemble.
Last year, Alan’s latest album, Deceived, reached #1 on the acoustic blues album chart on the Roots Music Report and stayed in the top 20 for 20 weeks. Deceived was produced by Grammy winner Paul Nelson (Johnny Winter) at The Music Room
Studio A, where Cape Cod Girl was recorded, as well as the foundational tracks for a forthcoming follow-up album release, Demise, which is slated to be released in early 2027. Demise will feature the same incredible lineup of musicians, producers, and
engineers that made a success out of Deceived.
The single will be available on all major streaming platforms as well as a physical CD release. Celebrate the kick off to the season with this new summer classic, Cape Cod Girl!
