An anthem celebrating bold, driven women, "Spitfire" was inspired by Susan Prowse, one half of the Arkansas-based, married country duo. Written by Cliff Prowse and produced in their Big Red Dog Productions studio, the track delivers an electrifying mix of country, rock, and Americana, with powerful fiddle-driven energy and a heartfelt message of empowerment.
"The idea for 'Spitfire' started with the phrase, ‘fiddle and steel your heart away,’" Cliff shares. "As the song came together, I realized the perfect muse was my wife, Susan. It’s a song about strong women, but it’s also about our shared journey as artists and partners.”With a music video produced by 613 Media slated to follow the release, "Spitfire" kicks off what promises to be an exciting year for Cliff & Susan.
