On April 23, guitar legend Steve Cropper will release ‘Fire It Up,’ the first record since 1969 to feature his solo name on it, after decades of stardom in soul, blues, and rock and roll.

Steve Cropper is THAT guitar on "Green Onions" by Booker T. & The MGs, also the house band for Stax Records. He's a founding member of the Blues Brothers, reintroducing classic soul to unsuspecting audiences, with Rolling Stone ranking him in the top 40 all-time greatest guitarists.
