BIO:One of the most "Quirky" bands in Dutch hard rock and metal
history released their final album back in 1991. After being on the
road for almost 10 years and releasing several records and CDs,
JEWEL called it a day.
This album, "Revolution in Heaven" was very well received by
foreign Rock and Metal magazines, and their own independent
record label "Classic Trash Records" sold more than 5000 copies.
For almost 30 years, the CD was difficult to get and unavailable
even on the black market.
The old management established a new Foundation with the
objective to release the daring music of guitar player/songwriter,
Henky Backer, the 'quirky' lyrics of singer Rick Ambrose, and
completed by the tight rhythm section of Arwin Vergers and Henkie
"Rammstein" Mulder. The goal is to prevent the music of JEWEL
from falling into oblivion.
Step one taken by the Foundation is to release "Revolution inHeaven" as a luxury double album containing three sides with the
fourth as a mirror in a limited edition.... as long as supplies last!!!
