De Finse band Wentus Blues Band uit Kokkola bestaat 35 jaar! En om dat feit te vieren is er nu een overzichtsalbum van de band verschenen. De band werd in 1986 opgericht en debuteerde in 1989 met het album ‘Wentus Blues Band’.
Hun 20-jarig jubileum vierde de band met het live album ‘Family Meeting’ waarop gasten aantraden als Eddie Kirkland, Phil Guy, Lazy Lester, Louisiana Red, Mick Taylor, Kim Wilson, Omar Dykes en Barrence Whitfield.

Stef Paglia(Blues Bones) Trio is kicking off the new year with the release of their brand new EP ‘Light & Darkness’. The full EP will be released on January 13, 2023. This EP contains 5 self-written songs that echo the band’s new sound. Ranging from pumping grooves, rough fuzz sounds to softer dreamy sounds. This EP contains it all!
Some of the songs were written during the lockdown period but this is defi nitely not a ‘Covid’ EP. To bring out the new sound, the band went to the Dunk! studios in Zottegem for 4 days in July 2022 to record “Light & Darkness.
