Drie jaar na haar goed ontvangen debuutalbum “High Road” komt de uit New Jersey afkomstige Katie Henry met de opvolger “On My Way”. In de afgelopen jaren heeft zij zich een slag in de rondte gewerkt en ze is hard bezig zich een plaats te verdienen tussen haar muzikale collega’s. Na een zeer gewaardeerd debuut is het altijd spannend of de artiest het niveau heeft kunnen vasthouden en of het publiek minimaal dezelfde waardering kan opbrengen.

Pharmacose is a collaborative alternative rock project hailing from Jacksonville, FL, that combines steadfast analog sounds with cutting edge flair. The project — whose name is a portmanteau of “pharmaceutical” and “comatose” — consists primarily of Wes Jones on vocals and rhythm guitar, and Lucio Rubino on bass. Frequent collaborators include Kevin Horne on lead guitar and Alberto Cruz on drums. They have previously released material under the name Digital Array.

Op zaterdagavond 7 mei a.s., doen cigar box gitaar bouwer en -speler (Cigarbox)  Henri Grootenhuis en zijn gezelschap, nog 1 maal de rockmusical  Old man on the front porch.

Deze musical over het ontstaan van de sigarendoos gitaar, was in het Dalfser theater De Stoomfabriek al 2 maal eerder door een enthousiast publiek geheel uitverkocht.

Omdat de vraag bleef komen, is besloten hem nog eenmalig in dezelfde Stoomfabriek op te voeren. Kaarten a 12.50 Eur via Theater de Stoomfabriek. Aanvang 20:00u.

Een Engels/Amerikaans avontuur zou je het kunnen noemen, deze samenwerking tussen de Engelsman Martin Harley en de Amerikanen Daniel Kimbro en Sam Lewis. Het drietal is een zeer ervaren club muzikanten, die al flink hun sporen hebben verdiend. Martin Harley is letterlijk de hele wereld al over gereisd, deed mee aan ‘World’s Highest Gig’ in de Himalayas, toerde op de motor door zowel Mali als India en Nepal. Daniel Kimbro uit Knoxville (TN) speelde met o.m. John Hiatt, de Jerry Douglas Band, James Taylor en Alison Kraus en heeft een paar Grammy nominaties op zijn naam staan. En Sam Lewis uit Nashville (TN) speelde met Leon Russell en Chris Stapleton om er maar een paar te noemen.
