Er is verder muziek met een link naar Bluesmagazine (releases, recensies, concert reviews) en daarna is de keuze gigantisch. De playlist is voor de luisteraar, naast het lezen van Bluesmagazine en andere Blues websites, een manier om nieuwe artiesten en hun muziek te leren kennen.Samenstelling: jos Verhagen. Wat me afgelopen week opviel is de bijval voor de album recensie Working man’s blues van Byther Smith en de mening; er zou te weinig echte Chicago blues meer bestaan. Nu weiger ik dat te geloven. De recent nieuwe albums van Nick Moss ft Dennis Gruenling en Monster Mike Welch en de nieuwe lichting Chicago blues helden als Lurrie Bell, Toronzo Cannon, Lil Ed and the Blues Imperials, Melvin Taylor en Errol Linton laten horen dat de Chicago blues nog volop levendig is. De tips van de luisteraar zijn verrassend en steeds weer namen die ik niet blijkt te kennen en je weer muziek geeft om naar te luisteren.
