Paul Cauthen will release the bold Country Coming Down,

On April 1^st, acclaimed singer/songwriter Paul Cauthen will release the bold Country Coming Down, his most brazen collection of new music to date. The album’s first single “Country As F--k” says it all right out of the gate with its honky-tonk meets night club vibe. The wild new video just premiered at Rolling Stone Country and is likely to start some conversations.

 

Those already familiar with Cauthen are aware of the intelligent and articulate songwriter and natural performer that he is, with a baritone voice that goes straight to your core. His  acclaimed 2019 release Room 41 was a revealing and cathartic album, documenting a transformative period in his life marred by a break-up, substance abuse and depression. Country Coming Down is a complete 180 that finds the artist renewed with a heathy, confident and downright fun headspace.

Charley Crockett will release his new album Lil’ G.L. Presents: Jukebox Charley on April 22^nd via Son of Davy/Thirty Tigers.

The fourth edition of his Lil’ G.L. tribute series, Jukebox Charley is another great example of how Crockett is enlivening country music by looking back for inspiration and crafting his own singular sound whether through his own songs or the songs of others. On this new album, produced by Billy Horton, Crockett mines country music’s past and then processes it through his “Gulf & Western” sound - weaving old school blues, R&B, soul, cajun, western swing and other classic touchstones with country - and enlivens the genre. And while the album features songs written by country legends like Willie Nelson, Tom T. Hall and George Jones, Crockett also shines a light on songs from regional acts like Louisiana’s Larry Brasso or a deep cut from Red Sovine. And even when he’s interpreting songs from country legends, Crockett steers toward lesser-known or underappreciated cuts, eschewing staples of the genre.

On March 6 they are live on Facebook from Studio Jupiter, where they recorded their second and third album but also owned by their sound engineer Koenraad Foesters. During the entire livestream, Boogie Beasts honor their roots and biggest influence: the blues.

Ook de relatie tussen de gitarist en zanger Lindsey Buckingham en de zangeres, zijn vriendin Stevie Nicks, gaat stuk. De dames zijn meer bezig met andere heren, hetgeen grote jaloezie bij de bassist en de gitarist oplevert. Daarnaast is druggebruik en feestvieren het belangrijkste wat ze doen.
