On The Bike From Denver to Tulsa

Yawpers' Frontman Nate Cook To Bike From Denver to Tulsa For Charity Starting on Sunday, September 20th, Yawpers' lead singer/guitarist Nate Cook will pedal from his hometown of Denver, CO to Tulsa, OK to raise money and awareness for struggling musicians during the COVID-19 pandemic. In a fundraising challenge he is calling the "Head East, Aging Man" Charity Ride, Cook will be on a road bike for nearly 700 miles and finish with a full-band, live-streamed show at Tulsa's Mercury Lounge on October 5th.

De mannen mixen broeierige Delta blues en old school country met gruizige klanken die doen denken aan The Cramps, MC5, Wilco en The Black Keys. Rauw, melodieus en knetter aanstekelijk. Luister maar eens naar hun in augustus verschenen derde album ‘Boy in a Well’, opgenomen in Chicago met Alex Hall (JD McPherson, Pokey Lafarge, The Cactus Blossoms) en Tommy Stinson (The Replacements).
