Goud van Oud: The Style Council
The Style Council was een Brits soul-jazz collectief uit de jaren 80 rond zanger-gitarist Paul Weller (ex-voorman van The Jam) en toetsenist Mick Talbot (ex-Dexy's Midnight Runners). Waar The Jam bekendstond als een typisch Britse band en nergens anders zo populair was als in eigen land had de Council ook succes op het Europese vasteland.
