Lloyd Spiegel is nog net geen veertig jaar oud maar staat toch al meer dan vijfentwintig jaar op het podium.

Het toeval wil dat Lloyd als zesjarige kennis maakt met de Australische blues legende “Dutch” Tilders - zoon van een Nijmeegse immigrantenfamilie - wanneer deze een caravan bewoond in de achtertuin van de familie Spiegel. Via het slaapkamerraam komen de klanken van Dutch’ gitaar binnen bij een jonge Lloyd en maken zoveel indruk dat deze nog maar één ding wil: gitaar spelen.
