Kenny Neal en Ruthie Foster Muziekprogramma CROSSROADS 2026 compleet en de Early Bird tot 30 juni Na de eerdere bekendmaking van vier namen is het muziekprogramma van CROSSROADS 2026 nu compleet. Met vijf nieuwe namen voegt de organisatie opnieuw een aantal topartiesten toe aan het festivalprogramma, dat op zaterdag 26 september 2026 van 16:00 tot 23:30 uur plaatsvindt in De Nieuwe Kolk in Assen.

Als Kenny’s vader zanger en mondharmonicaspeler Raful de patriarch van de familie en de Louisiana blues genoemd wordt dan is Kenny zeker diens opvolger te noemen. Ooit begonnen in het familieorkest, waar ook ooit Buddy Guy ook deel van uitmaakte, werd hij al zeer jong bassist in de band van Junior Wells. Nadat Alligator Records zijn eerste album onder een andere naam opnieuw uitbracht opende al snel alle deuren, podia en festivals voor hem. Ruim drie decennia later is Kenny Neal een vaste waarde geworden in de blueswereld.

Acclaimed American Bluesman Kenny Neal is launching his new label, BOOGA MUSIC, in partnership with the VizzTone label group and BratGirlmedia label management. Booga Music's flagship release is Brody Buster's One Man Band/Damn! I Spilled the Blues, to be released through Redeye Worldwide distribution October 18, 2019. The music for Booga Music is produced by Kenny Neal in his Baton Rouge, Louisiana based Brookstown Recording Studios, and will feature artists from the musically rich area, as well as select artists from far and wide.
