In april verschijnt zijn nieuwe album. Op 24 april komt hij naar Enschede met zijn band om te laten zien en horen waarom veel mensen hem beschouwen als een gitaargod. Een unieke kans om de meester aan het werk te zien dus.

Voordat Joe Satriani soloartiest werd en uitgroeide tot gitaargrootmeester zat hij in de band Squares, die eind jaren ’70 werd opgericht in Berkeley, Californië. ‘We were part Van Halen and part Everly Brothers. A mix of heavy metal, rock 'n' roll, punk and new wave. We were hard to pin down and categorize, which is most likely why we never ‘made it’!’, aldus Satriani.
