Bluesmagazine’s weekly playlist 186 Bluesmagazine’s weekly playlist is een gevarieerde lijst met onder andere tips van de luisteraars. Er is verder muziek met een link naar Bluesmagazine (releases, recensies, concert reviews) en daarna is de keuze gigantisch. De playlist is voor de luisteraar, naast het lezen van Bluesmagazine en andere Blues websites, een manier om nieuwe artiesten en hun muziek te leren kennen. De tijd staat niet stil het eerste grote bluesfestival, Moulin Blues, zie verslag, alweer achter de rug, en met nog veel grote en kleine bluesfestvials opkomst wordt het een hete Blueszomer. Deze week weer veel nieuwe releases in de lijst deze week maar ook een blik terug in de tijd. Zoals altijd start de lijst met de tips van luisteraars en de Bluesmagazine highlights. Al meer dan dertig jaar trekt ons festival artiesten van over de hele wereld naar Schöppingen. Ook onze festivalgangers reizen van ver om erbij te zijn. Harmonica Master Jason Ricci and The Bad Kind Get Behind the Veil on Debut Gulf Coast Records Album Coming September 29th  Gulf Coast Records announces a September 29th release date for Behind the Veil, the solo label debut from New Orleans-based harmonica master Jason Ricci and his band, The Bad Kind. Gulf Coast will release the album’s first single, “5-10-15,” (which features keyboardist Joe Krown) on August 11; followed by “St James Infirmary” on August 25; and “Why Don't We Sleep on It” (also with Joe Krown), on September 15.
