Het waren roerige tijden eind jaren ‘70tot begin jaren ’80 met krakersrellenen kraakdozen, met punk, electronischemuziek, new wave en non muziek. Het was de tijd van ‘do it yourself’ en regels waren er om genegeerd te worden. Dit allemaal was een goede voedingsbodem voor de Nederlandse onafhankelijke platenlabels Plurex, 1000 Idiotenen No Fun / Torso.

Nadat singles van Plurex artiesten Tits, Mollesters en Filth opnieuw waren uitgebracht door het 1975 label in Japan en het Mad Butcher label in Duitsland was er in 2016 de Plurex / No Fun compilatie ‘I Don’t Care’ met de eerste vier singles van ieder label.
