Ik wilde jullie graag voorstellen aan Saint Pierre. Het echtpaar Danny en Julia St. Pierre heeft een leven geleid dat een geweldige plaat waardig is: getrouwd in 1990, gescheiden en hertrouwd in 2017.

Nu hebben ze hun reis omgezet in Luck and Gravity , hun eerste album met originele nummers samen.

Het album, dat uitkomt op 17 oktober 2025, combineert de warmte van Americana soul met de scherpte van classic rock, met een vleugje galmende 12-snarige gitaren, Hammond B3-swells en harmonieën die decennia aan geschiedenis met zich meedragen.

Luck and Gravity , opgenomen met de veelgeprezen producer/gitarist Ed Tree in The Treehouse in San Gabriel, Californië, put uit de roots van het stel in Texas, hun jaren in de Tom Petty tributeband Petty Theft en een leven vol gedeelde (en afzonderlijke) muzikale avonturen.

Van het hartverwarmende "You Steady Me" tot de snelwegmeditatie "Fine Ride West" en het ironische "Pretty Is as Pretty Does", de nummers zijn momentopnames van het echte leven; rommelig, prachtig en met moeite verdiend.

Saint Pierre's debuut is meer dan een verzameling nummers; het is een bewijs van de kracht van doorzettingsvermogen, de aantrekkingskracht van het lot en de magie die ontstaat wanneer liefde en muziek hun weg naar huis vinden. Saint Pierre is the Santa Monica-based rock/Americana group lead by husband-and-wife team Danny and Julia St. Pierre,
lifelong musicians and Texas natives who have been making music together for decades. 

For the past 22 years, Danny and Julia have paid tribute to their rock hero Tom Petty through their acclaimed Southern California act, Petty Theft. 
In Saint Pierre, they expand far beyond tribute, blending their Petty roots with a wide-open Americana sound that’s all their own.
