Toronzo Cannon And The Chicago Way To Perform Throughout Europe March 15-March 30
Expectation-defying Chicago bluesman Toronzo Cannon and his band The Chicago Way will perform throughout Europe March 15 through March 30, 2024.
Songwriter, guitarist, vocalist and retired Chicago Transit Authority bus driver Cannon blazes his own visionary blues trail, fusing his original, keenly detailed tales of everyday life with his fiery guitar playing. UK tastemaker music magazine MOJO named Cannon’s 2019 Alligator Records release, The Preacher, The Politician Or The Pimp, the #2 Best Blues Album Of The Year. In July 2020, Chicago’s Newcity named Cannon the “Musician Of The Moment,” putting him on the cover of their annual music issue. Living Blues says, "Cannon bursts with youthful fire in his guitar work and his tough and deep vocals." Look for a new Toronzo Cannon and The Chicago Way release in 2024.
