Het album 'Brand New Plan' is een nieuwe etappe in de muzikale reis van de band. Op dit album toont Paceshifters zich nog altijd vaandeldrager en schatbewaarder van de grunge en alternatieve rock. 3voor12 schreef over de eerste single 'Hurdles' dat het ''Misschien wel de sterkste Nederlandse rocksingle in jaren'' is. Het nieuwe album is ruimtelijker en dynamischer dan hun voorgaande langspelers. De samenwerking met producer Ian Clement (Wallace Vanborn) was zeer geslaagd. Gitarist/zanger Seb Dokman: "We zijn super trots op dit nieuwe album. We kunnen niet wachten om dit met iedereen te delen."
De belangrijste track voor de band op dit album is single ‘Rhythm Of The Ocean’. De Song gaat over Walvissen en orka’s die leven in gevangenschap. En ook zij hebben nood aan een Brand New Plan.
In het afgelopen anderhalf jaar was het net als voor andere artiesten voor Paceshifters behelpen en aftasten. Voor de fans richtten ze The Bakkie Society op, een officiële Paceshifters fanclub. Ondanks corona gaf de band in 2020 nog een twintigtal liveshows waaronder een optreden voor Rockpalast in Bonn en een geslaagde semi-akoestische campingtour. Maar het mooiste zijn toch de optredens voor een volle zaal, want dat missen ze. Vanaf oktober overal in het land, Paceshifters live met hun spiksplinternieuwe plan.

To celebrate the release, Paceshifters are playing a (club) tour, with the official release show in Utrecht (Ekko) and concerts in Breda (MEZZ), Groningen (VERA) and Amsterdam (Paradiso), amongst others. 'Brand New Plan' is a new chapter in the musical journey of the band, although the band stays true to their innovative twist on grunge and alternative rock. 3voor12 wrote about the first single 'Hurdles' that ‘’it might be the strongest Dutch rock single in years''. The new album is more spacious and dynamic than their previous full lengths. The collaboration with producer Ian Clement (Wallace Vanborn) was very successful. Guitarist/singer Seb Dokman: "We are super proud of this new album. We can't wait to share it with everyone."
According to Paceshifters, ‘Rhythm Of The Ocean’ is the most important track of the album. The song is about whales in captivity and the way that their natural habitat is redeemed by concrete walls. Not only for Paceshifters but also for whales in captivity it’s time for a brand new plan.
During the past year and a half, Paceshifters, like other artists, have been struggling and exploring. For their fans, they founded The Bakkie Society, an official Paceshifters fan club. And despite COVID, the band still played about twenty live shows in 2020, including a gig at Rockpalast in Bonn and a successful semi-acoustic camping tour.
