Zoals iedereen vandaag weet, werd deze albumrelease noodlottig door die wereldwijde Covid-19-pandemie - de winkel was kort gesloten na de release en de tour moest uiteindelijk worden uitgesteld en zelfs geannuleerd.

Het is nu meer dan twee jaar geleden sinds Bonfire, na het uitstekende debuut van hun huidige zanger Alexx Stahl op Byte The Bullet (2017), werden unaniem gevierd met hun opvolgeralbum Temple Of Lies (2018). Twee jaar waarin de band rockt talloze podia in binnen- en buitenland voordat ze de lat nog hoger leggen met hun nieuwste aanbod: Fistful Of Fire is absoluut een van de zwaarste Bonfire-albums ooit en is in maart 2020 uitgebracht.

In het jaar 2020 ging de band opnieuw naar de "Flatliners Recording Studios" om daar de nieuwe langspeler "Roots" op te nemen. Het is een prachtig "bijna unplugged" -album met 24 tracks volledig opnieuw opgenomen en op nieuwe manieren geïnterpreteerd. Het bevat zeer jonge ballads als "When An Old Man Cries" en oude evergreens als "You Make Me Feel", bevatten oude rockhits zoals "Ready 4 Reaction" en "American Nights" maar ook opkomende rockhymnes als "The Devil Made Me Do It", dus elke fan van deze band zal hier iets op vinden. Bovendien bevat het 5 gloednieuwe nummers die zijn gemaakt terwijl een crowdfunding-campagne als overmaking werkt voor fans.

Met deze release en de nieuwe campagne op StartNext probeert de band wat geld op hun lege bandaccounts en biedt nogal wat muzikale delicatesse qua inhoud. Naast diverse merchandise artikelen, huiskamerconcerten, VIP.

It’s been more than two years now since Bonfire, following the outstanding debut of their current vocalist Alexx Stahl on Byte The Bullet (2017), were unanimously celebrated for their successor album Temple Of Lies (2018). Two years which saw the band rock countless stages at home and abroad before going on to set the bar even higher with their latest offering: Fistful Of Fire is definitely one of the toughest Bonfire albums ever and has been released in March 2020.

As everybody knows today, this album release was ill-fated by that worldwide Covid-19 pandemic – store had closed short after the release and the tour had to be postponed and even cancelled in the end. It’s a fact, that the band did not play one single show with their new album to that very day.

However the band from Ingolstadt is trying to looking forward. New plans arouse for an upcoming project. It was summer 2020 when the band again hit the “Flatliners Recording Studios” to start recording the new longplayer “Roots”. It’s a ent "almost unplugged"-album with 24 tracks recorded completely over again and interpreted in new ways. It includes very young ballads like “When An Old Man Cries” and old evergreens like “You Make Me Feel”, contains old rock hits like “Ready 4 Reaction” and "American Nights" but also arising rock hymns like “The Devil Made Me Do It”, so every fan of this band will find something on this one. On top of that in features 5 brandnew songs that have been created while a crowdfunding campaign as remittance works for fans.
