SONGS OF ISOLATION VOLUME 2 - NHS CHARITY ALBUM

We - as in Adam Norsworthy, Mike Rivers and, myself, Mark Ede - couldn't be more delighted to announce the songs and line up of volume 2 of Songs Of Isolation - NHS Charity Album, out officially on Monday 26th October, where EVERY penny raised goes to NHS Heroes + charity.

Huge thanks to all the wonderful artists who have contributed (mainly exclusive performances) to help the cause - James SayerMichelle John, Brent Carter, Fred VigdorRob AriesRumerMark ButcherMartin HarleyJohn FiddlerBill WymanElles BaileyJames MaddockJo HarmanChristopher HollandConnor SelbyHollie RogersKiki Dee and Carmelo Luggeri, and Fred Mollin; you are big-hearted stars, one and all! Also big thanks to Jon Astley (The Who, George Harrison etc fame) for kindly mastering the release..

Also very many thanks to every in the community who helped make Volume 1 such a success. Indeed we've had very many pre-orders for Volume 2, even without the upcoming media campaign and thousands of pounds have been raised for the charity already.

There are, in total, 500 limited edition physical CD's of Volume 2 available to be sent out later this month, onwards, so anything you can do to help mention this would be hugely appreciated!

In many respects this album continues the lyrical theme, the intimate recordings and the blues/roots nature of Volume 1, but not exclusively, as Volume 2 really centres very much on the power of song. On this Volume it's really very much about the song - and a somwhat wider range of genres and production values are involved, from 'live' to full blown studio to deliberately intimate home recordings; it's all there to enjoy and we truly hope there is something there to your liking which is suitable for your own music programming.

Here is the star studied line up! As ever, we've tried to showcase talented singers and songwriters across the generations, all tied together by classic and timeless writing and performing values.

Brent Carter, Fred Vigdor, Rob Aries (Of AWB) - A Change Is Gonna Come (Cooke)

Given there is an hour of music here, some other great artists (some housdehold name artists included) have been held over for Volume 3, which is. already in development!

As this is all for charity, anything you can do to get people involved at www.songsofisolation.com would be much appreciated where, we repeat, EVERY penny raised goes to NHS Heroes
